West Coast Dummy / Mannequin Review

The West Coast Inflatable Training Dummy is built for ease of use to enhance your training. It sets up and breaks down in a minute. Used at every level, the West Coast Goalkeeping Trainer is currently being used at MLS, USL, NWSL and College Level and is a great tool for any Goalkeeper or Keeper Coach.

The use of the dummies / mannequins has been a great training tool and obstacle for our program at BN Goalkeeping Academy. We have four of them and we gave them a name: Bob 1, 2, 3 and 4. If something doesn’t go right, we blame Bob.

When you purchase the dummies / mannequins, they can be bought as a package (3 of them plus the pump) or bought as a single. We bought the package plus one single for a total of 4 dummies. The package comes with a carry bag and we were happy to see that all 4 fit in the carry bag.

You have a choice of either using water or sand to add weight to the bottom of the dummy. We choose water and takes about 1-2 minutes max to fill up. The pump that is provide works amazing. In a matter of a minute, you can have the dummy inflated with a gauge on the dummy so you can’t under or over inflate.

We have used these dummies in windy weather and did very well. There was one time that was really bad so we used training posts to up keep the dummies up.

Overall impression of West Coast Dummy, 5 stars out of 5 stars. We would highly recommend these dummies if you want to take your goalie training to the next level.
